Ford Motor Company Refresh

ford motor company, art + graphics
These images represent a small fraction of the artwork I designed during for Ford’s Global Retail division. Delving into the archives at Ford was a real treat as a designer. I took different approaches depending on the narrative. Electric vehicle artwork was often cool, metallic, and youthful. For imagery related to the heritage of Ford, I wanted to be more playful and subversive.
In the archives I found the front pages from an internal Ford magazine called “Ford Times”, which ran for decades. These covers now adorn the telephone booths at the Ford Experience Center, one of many design decisions that helped to highlight the company’s wide-ranging legacy.
